How to make the most out of the RGU Virtual Open Day

Our Undergraduate Open Day may not be on-campus this year, but we’re just as fun virtually. We promise! We have events, talks, tours and so much more to show you what it feels like to be a student at RGU. Read on for tips on how to make the most out of the RGU Virtual Open Day

Be prepared

Our Virtual Open Day is on 14th November from 10 AM – 2 PM. Just like our on-campus events, we have several activities lined up for you to learn everything about RGU. Therefore, you must make a few preparations in advance.

Step one is to register.

This is important, once you register you will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to login to visit our Virtual Open Day.

While some of our line-ups will be running on demand (you can watch them anytime during the event), many others such as school presentations and student panels will be running live. So make sure to have a look at our timetable before the event.

There will also be opportunities for students and parents to interact with us, so be prepared with any questions you may want answers to.

Check out our Open Day exhibitions

Our exhibitions are one of the highlights of our Undergraduate Open Day event. Our academic schools, student support services and societies will have their own virtual stands. They will be available on live chat throughout the event to give you all the information you need.

This is another opportunity to talk to our course leaders and representatives of our student services.

Our Student Ambassadors will also be available to answer any questions related to your school, student societies at RGU:Union, the RGU campus and much more.

Virtual Campus tour

If you are not following us on Instagram, then you are missing out on a lot of fun and important updates/information about RGU. This Undergraduate Open Day, we are bringing you visuals from our beautiful campus through an interactive tour on our Instagram stories.

Open Day goody boxes

If you have ever attended any of the RGU events, you will know that our event goodies are the best! This Virtual Open Day, you can sign up to get one of the RGU goody boxes posted to your doorstep. Contents of this box include an RGU face mask (how exciting!), a canvas tote bag, a Doric dictionary, and a Parents’ Guide.

We can’t wait to meet you all virtually on the 14th November and tell you all about why we are the Scottish University of the Year (The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021). Don’t forget to register now on our website.
