Celebrating Chrismas Eve (Eve) with RGU:Union

To make sure no students spent the festive season alone, the wonderful team at RGU:Union organised a special Christmas Eve (Eve) Party on Friday 23rd of December. Find out more about the success of the event in this blog.

Suzanna Bamigbola, Student President Communication & Democracy, tells us more about the festive celebration:

“Last Semester, RGU:Union hosted a selection of festive events, one of which was the Christmas Eve Eve Party. The festive season is mostly spent with families and loved ones and we were aware that some of our students were going to be alone during this time. That is why the Union saw the need to bring them together for a fun time.

“The Christmas Eve Eve Party took place on Friday 23rd of December 2022, which explains the unusual name.

“We had about 40 students attending the party. Throughout the day, we played quiz, musical statues, musical chairs, and other games. Prizes were given out too for the winners of the activities. We also shared a nice lunch together with pizza and drinks available for everyone.”

What did the students think of the celebration?

“The Party was nice because when you are far away from family, it is special to enjoy a Christmas party at your university. Thank you for a fun time and lunch, the hosts were really kind.”
