The International Meet and Greet Student Ambassador

I stand in the airport ‘arrivals’ waiting for strangers. I don’t know who they are or where they’re from, but they’re coming to study here, in Scotland, and it’s my job to welcome them. I’m possibly the first Scottish person they’ll meet – and the face of Robert Gordon University – where they’ve chosen to study abroad for a period of time. (more…)

My Journey at RGU

I began my MSC at RGU in the early part of last year. On arrival, I had a lot of fears and concerns. Firstly, I saw the God-given opportunity to study in the UK as a springboard into my career which had to be utilised effectively. But though I had good grades from my undergraduate program in my Nigerian university, this was my first time studying outside of my country and I didn’t know what to expect from this “new system”. ESN – Erasmus Student Network, is an international student organisation with a mission to represent international students by providing opportunities for cultural understanding and self-development under the principle of Students Helping Students.
