Books and Beans

Located right in the heart of the city centre, Books and Beans is a small café with a great selection of second-hand books, nice food (roasted peppers, olives and hummus sandwich is my absolute favourite!) and friendly staff. It’s a great place to catch up or have a brunch with your friends.

The Long Dog Café

The Long Dog Café is a lovely little place in the West End of Aberdeen. Members of staff are always paying attention to the smallest details there. This is why the place is so warm and welcoming! And of course the little doggies running around make it even cosier. Not long ago they launched an evening menu, so it’s a great place for a light supper.

Opened in 2013, Almondie was the first patisserie in Aberdeen to make proper macarons. It’s like having a little bit of Paris right in Aberdeen’s city centre with friendly and helpful staff. They also offer macarons boxes, which can be a great addition to a present or a can be a present itself.

  1. Yvis house of tea was one of my favourite places in Aberdeen, but she moved to Inverurie and there is no tearoom or waffle house anymore in rosemount 😥😥

  2. I have been to Books and Beans, found it when I was looking for somewhere to photocopy my documents. A cosy place where you can read (or borrow books as I was told) and also eat.
